IndyGO News: Airport Express hits the streets

Indianapolis – IndyGo is painting the town green. The new Green Line
Downtown/Airport Express route is officially on the streets, giving residents and visitors a
quick and convenient way to get to and from the Indianapolis International Airport.

Did we mention the savings? For only $7 per trip, patrons can hop on board seven days
per week, store their luggage and let IndyGo do the driving for them.

“Travelers already have too much to worry about,” said Gilbert Holmes, IndyGo
President and CEO. “Now, you can plan you trip, pack your bags and ride the Green
Line to the airport. Take the hassle out of traveling and enjoy the ride.”
The Airport Express Route will be funded by a $2.9 million Congestion Mitigation and Air
Quality (CMAQ) federal grant, which provides for funding over the next three years.
